Folks

Thanks for all your orders and payments.

Kit is on order - getting confirmation of stocks etc shortly from 2XU ...

Some gear will arrive directly, some will go directly to Richard Stannard for printing and then be with us between Christmas and New year (best case) or first week of Jan ...

Update on printing - we have the option of reflective printing on the kit ... A good idea me thinks for this weather!

Do we want printing on the back of the Jackets and Gillets? It is £6 a logo ... We have already paid for the front logo ...

The Jersey has a vertical logo on both sides of the back - do we want it to match, or just a logo down the right hand side of the back (closest to the traffic) ...

Your thoughts please ... As in a all good democracys ... majority rules ...

Laters

C

:P

Chris, thanks for getting this sorted. :!:

My preference would be one logo on the back and, as you suggested, having it vertically down the right side as you look at the back of the garment (ie: traffic side in the UK). Am assuming that the front logo is on the opposing side (ie left side as you look at the front of the garment - pavement side)?

What's the story with the shorts? are we getting them printed or leaving them plain?

Opposite side on the front - as a small note, the trisuits will have the vertical logo too (on the front) to match everything else ...

Shorts are printed, small logo on the leg (each leg) - can have reflective material too if we like! 8)

I have avoided extra logos on boasters, compression tops etc due to cost - but it can be done at £6 a logo again ... also we can have names etc on the trisuits if we like, again £6 ...

Thanks Chris.

Forgot to mention, I think we should go reflective and/or white seeing as all the kit (bar the custom race jerseys) will be black.

Now that the first lot of 'custom' kit has arrived and appears to tick all the boxes :D , myself and Chris have been having a chat.

We are tentatively thinking about another custom order (for delivery begining Q3) but this time getting a long sleeve (intermediate) jersey.

The design would be exactly the same as the race jersey with the remainder of the arms being black with the team logo on each.

We would only go ahead with this order if there was sufficient interest - as per normal, the minimum custom order would be 24 items.

Please post a reply here should you be interested in this option.

Absolutely, I wanted them first time round! 2, although I might be pursuaded into 3 if necessary.

Can we have a sample sent so we know the exact style of jersey, like material weight etc. Not necessarily a custom one, just one so we know what were buying...

And your design department will alter the white shoulders in order to keep the kit clean. All black arms, but with the orange 'arm band' and another at the wrist level. Trisportnews down the forearm in white/orange. And a white strip down the back of the arm to maintain the visibility of the jersey so the car behind has something to aim at when running you down.

Any thoughts?

Adam, appreciate that you were canvessing for this the first time round but at the time we went with one custom item to keep the cost down (a cause close to a students heart!).

Hopefully, it we decide to go for it, spreading the custom orders out will ease the financial load a little not just for you but for the rest of the team as well.

With regards to design, I'm not sure if you re-jigging the shoulders etc will result in a 'new' set up cost on top of the per item price :?: Might be one fo DS Chris to email 2xu about

Am pretty sure that sticking with the racing jersey design and just adding the remainder or the sleeves will not result in further expence and/or confusion. Would white shoulder's be that bad? - I'm so far above the tarmac they very rarely get dirty :!:

Have had a chat with Chris and he's going to contact 2xu with regards to getting a sample of thier 'custom' l/s jersey - so we know what we'd get.

With regards to altering the design (as per Adams previous post), this is a non starter I'm afraid. Apart from incurring a further setup fee from 2xu we've also submitted the race design to BC so any l/s version must correspond to the s/s (with the exception of the remainder of the arms).

With let you all know when the sample turns up.
