Unicycling

I've decided to learn how to ride a unicycle. Why? Not sure exactly but I like bicycling and I like a challenge so why not?

History
Now aparently in the late 1800s over 1000 people killed themselves riding Penny Fathings. Some bright spark realised that Penny Fathings were actually safer if you sawed off the smaller rear wheel and handlebars. Why no one realised that making a machine with two wheels the same size was the way forward I don't know. By 1887 some had realised this and the safety bicycle as we know it today was invented.

My Unicycle
My unicycle has a 24" wheel and because I'm tall I had a 300mm seat post fitted. Having tried to ride it I now realise just how difficult it is.
